Household Chemical Clean Out
Local Councils in conjunction with the Department of Environment and Conservation are holding free collection days to ensure safe disposal of unwanted household chemicals. Residents are encourages to clean out their sheds and dig the following unwanted products:

Note: Only household quantities will be accepted.

SydneyWater also conducts an annual household chemical collection. Household chemicals include pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, weed killers, oils, petrol, paints and medicines. For further information telephone Sydney Water on 1800 814 719.
Note:- Up to 20 litres of paint can be taken to Waste Management Centres. For further information contact Waste Service NSW Customer Service Centre on 1300 651 116 or visit www.wsn.com.au . Emptied paint tins can be placed in your garbage bin.
