Garden Organics

Council offers an optional fortnightly garden organics service for a charge . It is collected the same day as your recycling bin. To apply for the garden waste service complete the application form.

The following items can be placed in your garden waste bin:

	lawn clippings
	twigs and prunings
	leaves
	flowers
	weeds
	untreated timber less than one metre and no thicker than 100mm

The following CANNOT be placed in your garden waste bin:

	plastic bags
	rubbish
	soil
	timber
	food scraps
	tree stumps
	bricks/building material
	paper
	pet droppings
	chemically treated, stained or painted timber

Large bundles of garden waste can be disposed of at Waste Management Centres.
