Self-Disposal Options
What can you do with additional rubbish or recyclables?
1. Re-Use
The best way to dispose of items if they are in good condition is to give them to charities or re-use centres, including:
Salvation Army – ph: 13 16 40
St Vincent de Paul – ph: (02) 9745 3744
The Bower Reuse and Repair Centre, 142 Addison Road, Marrickville ph: (02) 9568 6280
Reverse Garbage is a not-for-profit co-operative that sells industrial discards, off-cuts and over-runs to the public for creative and practical uses, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill. It is located at 142 Addison Road, Marrickville ph: 9569 3132.
