Ashfield and Leichhardt Councils have joined forces to present a new program of free environmental workshops called “Treading Lightly.”

This ongoing program of workshops will provide Ashfield and Leichhardt Council residents with information and solutions for sustainable living.

RAINWATER TANKS

Want to get a rainwater tank, but don't know where to start?

This information session offers friendly and professional advice that will help answer all those questions you have about choosing and installing a tank in your home. This workshop will be held at:

ECO-RENOVATIONS

Are you renovating?

Want to make your home more Eco-Friendly?

Learn how to create a safe chemical free home for your family and cut energy bills and water use. This one day workshop assist renovators in their designs and choosing the right materials for their renovations.

COMPOSTING & WORM FARMING

Learn to reduce your household waste and improve your garden through our composting and worm farming workshop. You will learn how to create your own composting system or worm farm from scratch in this half day hands-on workshop.

"Treading Lightly" is a program providing free sustainability workshops to the community and is brought to you by Ashfield Council's Environment Levy and Leichhardt Council.
