Committees of Council

Before a recommendation is brought to the Council Meeting, it is usually discussed at a Committee Meeting.
Committees are held on the third Tuesday of each month commencing at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers on Level 6 of the Civic Centre, 260 Liverpool Road, Ashfield.

Standing Committees:

  • Budget and Operations Review Commitee
  • Communications Committee
  • Community Services Committee - Community Representatives
  • Environment Committee
  • Library Committee
  • Works & Infrastructure Committee
  • Strategic Planning & Economic Development Committee
  • Local Indigenous, Multicultural & Ethnic Affairs Committee - Community Representatives

 

Advisory Committees:

  • Ashfield Access Committee – Community Representatives
  • Local Traffic Committee
  • Youth Reference Committee – Community Representatives
  • Seniors Action Committee – Community Representatives
  • Ashfield Business Liaison Committee

Many of these communities offer opportunities for representatives from the community to participate in regular meetings.
