Ashfield Access Committee

Advisory Committee

Do you have an interest in promoting free and safe access for all community members?

The Access Committee meets monthly on the second Monday of the month (no meetings in December or January).  It is chaired by a Councillor and includes people with disabilities and local service providers.

The objective of the Access Committee is to:

  • Advise Council on issues of access for people with disabilities to facilities and services within the Municipality.
  • Promote awareness in the community of the needs of people with disabilities
  • Assist Council in the provision of access for everyone in the community.
  • When relevant, review development applications and provide advice to Council on access provisions.
