Budget and Operations Review Committee

The Committee:-

  • Develops and reviews Council's Strategic Plan, Management Plan and Budget.
  • Develops and reviews Council’s Human Resources Strategic Plan, Information Technology Strategic Plan, property acquisitions, sales, management and other entrepreneurial activities.
  • Monitors the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Council's operations and reviews and develops new policies for Council.
  • Reviews tender policies and probity guidelines and provides an avenue of communication between the auditors and Council. 
  • Reviews Council’s compliance of its statutory responsibilities under all legislation
