Communications Committee 

The Committee:-

  • Develops and reviews Council’s communications strategies and policies and reviews Council corporate identity logos and promotional material.
  • Develops and review of policy objectives for Council publications including newsletters and annual reports.
  • Plans and resources civic functions, celebrations and festivals including Australia Day, Local Government Week, the Carnival of Cultures, Heritage Week, National Environment Week and Carols by Candlelight.
  • Plans community surveys, consultation, and reviews feedback. Develops community consultation strategies in relation to the development, and review of town planning instruments and policies.
