The next round of funding will open in April/May 2012.

Projects in the following categories may qualify for funding under this program:

  • Community welfare and social services
  • Community development
  • Community health services and
  • Employment assistance activities.

To find out more about the grant scheme visit  Clubs NSW.  Alternatively, phone Ashfield Council on 9716 1841.

In 2010, licensed Clubs in the Ashfield municipality allocated funds of $285,000 to local non-profit, community groups for projects and services that support local disadvantaged communities. If you are a local, non-profit organisation you can apply for funding to help support your community program or activity. This scheme is a shared State Government - Club Industry program, funded by a 1.5% gaming machine tax rebate provided by the State Government to those registered clubs with gaming machine profits in excess of $1 million per annum. Licensed clubs in our community are supporting a range of community projects through this program and Ashfield Council is assisting them through the grants Committee to make better decisions about their allocations.
