Justice of the Peace
A Justice of the Peace (JP) service is available at Ashfield Library on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Saturday mornings from 10am-12 noon.
A Justice of the Peace (JP) is available at Haberfield Library on Mondays 10am-11am.
This service was introduced by Ashfield Library in 2007 and is staffed by volunteers, with support from the NSW Justices Association.
Are you interested in becoming a volunteer JP?
Ashfield Library is encouraging members of the community to apply to become a JP and then to register to volunteer at either Ashfield or Haberfield Library.
Application forms and more information on becoming a JP are available at Ashfield and Haberfield Libraries and Council's Customer Service Centre. Library staff can assist people in completing the form and will provide ongoing training for JPs who volunteer at the Library.
