Priorities:

Lucille was elected to council for the first time at the 2004 elections.

She is a registered nurse who has worked in Aged Care for over 30 years and is currently the Director of Nursing at a 54 bed nursing home.

Lucille has a long standing interest in women's issues, nursing and professional issues and is a councillor of the NSW Nurses Association and the Australian Nursing Federation.

She has been on the executive of various community organisations and women's organisations over many years and is passionate about supporting our youth and women to reach their full potential.

She has had a long association with Ashfield, at various times living or working in the municipality and has lived in Haberfield for the past eight years.

Her vision for her first term is:

  • To make the Ashfield municipality a more desirable place to live
  • Continue to improve community facilities
  • Continue to support the Community Services which are a feature of Ashfield Council
  • Support and promote multicultural and ethnic affairs.

Lucille is married to Bruce, has two adult children and five grandchildren.
