Ashfield Library collects books in the following languages:
- Chinese
- Gujarati
- Italian
You can find other Community Language holdings by other libraries here.
The library also have a collection of community language DVDs and magazines in various languages. In addition, the Library has a Basic English Collection of learning materials to assist people wanting to improve their English language skills.The library is part of the national Inter Library Loan network and can obtain books in other languages temporarily from the State Library.
