Patrick Kelso was elected to Ashfield Council in September 2008 succeeding Mary Hawkins as the Greens Councillor for East Ward. A resident of Ashfield for several years and the Inner West area for almost a decade, Patrick is passionate about the local character of the area and wants to ensure Ashfield does not lose its charm. When not gardening in his backyard Patrick is often found in a local Ashfield park with his 5 year old son, or dancing with his friends in one of the many groups he performs with. A longtime supporter of the Arts, Patrick is keen to see initiatives like the Ashfield Youth Theatre continued. In all his spare time Patrick is also involved with Engineers Without Borders and is willing to talk anyone's ear off if they want to ask what EWB does.
