Preschooler Story Time 3-5 years
Introduce your child to the joys of literature and language through story, poetry, puppetry, songs and craft.
These 45 minute sessions are designed for the preschooler, if your child is a baby or toddler please attend the Baby Rhyme Time sessions.
Story Time and Rhyme Time sessions are not run during school holidays. Please check under School Holiday Activities for special events and shows during school holidays.
Story Time and Rhyme Time Information
- Haberfield Library on Wednesdays at 11am.
- Ashfield Library on Thursdays at 11am.
To ensure that storytime is enjoyed by all we ask that you:
- Arrive before the session is scheduled to begin
- Participate in the session with your child by singing, acting out the rhymes
- Encourage your child to sit quietly during the story/activity.
- Please do not feed toddlers during storytime as this is distracting to other children and can create a mess.
- Please encourage your child to help clean up after craft.
These are a valuable experience to be shared by children, parent/carers and library staff.
