Where: Adult fiction reading area at Ashfield Library
What: Keith Ainsworth Pty Ltd will be bringing along some Adult fiction for you to preview. If you find something you like, simply place a slip of paper in the book with your name and library card number on it. We will purchase the book for our collection, and you will be the first person at Ashfield Library to read it! Afterwards, come up to Level 6 Council Chambers at 1pm for an Authors at Ashfield event with Brooke Littman and her community cookbook Love Your Leftovers.
Ashfield Library now has a dedicated Local Studies room on level 2 Ashfield Civic Centre.
The hours of opening for local studies and family history research are:
Mondays and Tuesdays 10am-1pm and Thursdays 2pm-5pm.
The room is also open for private study on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1.15pm-3.15pm.
